TMP's Steve Ehrlich delivered the opening keynote at the Conference Board's Extending Your Brand to Employees Conference in Chicago last month, and Rob O'Keefe, VP Brand Strategy for TMP moderated a panel discussion titled, "Finding and Keeping the Best and Brightest." The event provided a successful 2-day forum for marketing, branding, communications and HR professionals to learn best practices for extending their brands to their workforce from renowned thought leaders and peers.

Web 2.0—the concept of web-based technology to create collaboration among users—has redefined many aspects of doing business, including how to approach employer brand management. The rise of social networking means that more candidates have more opportunity to interact with your brand than most of us could have imagined as recently as 5 years ago. In this opening presentation, Steve explored the significant and inherent linkages between the employer brand, social networking and corporate career sites. Furthermore, he provided insight on how to manage the employer brand in the Web 2.0 world—where the brand should live, how to display it and how to deliver it.

The Conference Board provides opportunities to executives from around the globe to "share practical business experience." Their meetings have been rated as one of America's leading speaking platforms for top management.
