LONDON (May 16, 2013) – AIA Worldwide, the EMEA headquarters of TMP Worldwide Advertising & Communications, LLC, a global tech-enabled talent acquisition company, today announced that it has been recognised with four awards at the 34th Annual Telly Awards.

With nearly 11,000 entries from numerous countries and all 50 U.S. states, the four wins highlight AIA’s ability to create effective digital recruitment videos that not only improve its clients’ talent acquisition activities, but also gain industry attention. Overall, the company won a Silver Award, the highest honour of The Telly Awards, and three Bronze Awards for three of its most high-profile clients.

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honouring outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programmes, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators and corporate video departments in the world.

For its 34th season, The Telly Awards once again joined forces with YouTube to give the public the power to view and rate videos submitted as part of the People’s Telly Awards. In addition to recognition from the Silver Telly Council, the judging panel that selects the Telly Awards winners, the Internet community helps decide the People’s Telly Awards winners.

A prestigious judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents. The Silver Council evaluated entries to recognise distinction in creative work – entries do not compete against each other – rather entries are judged against a high standard of merit. Less than 10% of entries are chosen as Winners of the Silver Telly, the highest honour. Approximately 25% of entries are chosen as Winners of the Bronze Telly.

“The Telly Awards has a mission to honour the very best in film and video”, said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. “AIA’s accomplishments illustrate their creativity, skill and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production”.

Martin Rimmer, Creative Director of AIA Worldwide said, “AIA Worldwide combines the latest digital technology with industry-leading expertise in talent acquisition to develop innovative and attention-grabbing recruitment materials that help our clients engage with the people they need”.

“We are honoured that the Telly Awards have recognised our expertise in leveraging digital, software and creative solutions to develop highly effective video content. These awards show that we’re creating vibrant content that makes employers stand out by giving candidates a real feel for a company before they join”, added Jamie Haskayne, Creative Director, AIA Worldwide.
